It’s not every day that you get the opportunity to catch one of the biggest car shows around, so when the America Car Show on the USS Lexington comes to Corpus Christi, it’s not something you can afford to miss. This show will take place on Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 5 and 6, on the USS Lexington Navy Ship right here in Corpus Christi, Texas. Take a look at the schedule, so you have an idea of what to expect when you attend.
Saturday
On Saturday, people with cars that will be shown at the event will start loading onto the aircraft carrier before the sun rises. However, the event opens to the public at 9 a.m. Don’t be late! At 11 a.m., photos of the event will be taken from a helicopter. Be sure to check out the amazing shots of this car show after the event. Then, in the evening from 6 to 10 p.m., there will be dinner and live music onboard. The dinner is provided by Texas Roadhouse, so you know it’s going to be tasty.
Sunday
You can come out to this event on Sunday, as well. There are going to be official photos taken at 5 p.m., and offloading will begin at 5:15 p.m. Therefore, make sure you’re there before that if you want to get one last look at these amazing rides.
