You do not have to travel far to listen to live classical music. Simply head to the Texas A&M University Corpus Christi Preforming Arts Center to attend the symphony. There, you will have the opportunity to listen as Maestro Hector Guzman conducts the Corpus Christy Symphony Orchestra. You will be able to hear classical music at its finest if you attend this performance.
Event Details
This performance will take place on March 11. The event starts at 7:30 pm and ends at 9:00 pm. This is definitely not your normal symphony performance. Instead, it is one of a series of five concerts that the symphony is putting on in an effort to choose the next maestro. Maestro John Giordano recently left the symphony, at which time 144 maestros applied to take his place.
The Corpus Christi Symphony Orchestra selected five finalists, each being tasked with creating a performance that will wow the judges, as well as the audience. If you attend this orchestra event, you will get to participate in the process of filling out a survey at the end of the performance.
About Hector Guzman
It should come as no surprise that Maestro Hector Guzman was selected as one of the finalists. As the Piano Symphony Orchestra’s founding conductor, he has a reputation as one of the finest maestros around. He currently conducts the San Antonio and Irving Symphony Orchestras, and is a popular guest conductor.
Future Performance
If you are unable to watch Maestro Hector Guzman, you can still take part in the fun by attending Maestro Richard Buckley’s performance on April 8. This performance starts at 7:30 pm, and when it is over, you will be asked to fill out a survey.
The concert does not have to end when the curtain closes. When you get a new car from Mike Shaw Toyota in Robstown, TX, you will have the perfect vehicle for listening to your favorite tunes on the way home. Choose from vehicles that have features such as 8-speaker sound system and Bluetooth connectivity. These features will make you feel as if were attending a concert right inside your car.
