March is just around the corner which means St. Patrick’s Day is among us. This festive holiday reminds us of all things green such as shamrocks and even certain types of beer. If you and your friends enjoy getting a bit of exercise, you won’t want to miss the Shamrock Shuffle. Get ready to kick off the annual St. Paddy’s Day Festival when you attend the Shamrock Shuffle!
About the Event
The 5th Annual Shamrock Shuffle will be held on Saturday, March 16 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at 301 N Water St, Corpus Christi, TX 78401. This 5K Run/Walk and 1K Leprechaun Chase is a fun event that locals always enjoy! While children ages 8 and younger enjoy chasing a Leprechaun to the pot of gold, others will enjoy the 5K run. In addition to this, the day is filled with a variety of fun events such as:
- Irish Dancing
- Bagpipes
- Food Vendors
- Door Prizes
- Costume Contests
- Much More!
Registration Information
For those who wish to register for the event, there’s a few important notes you should know. First of all, if you register before March 1, the prices are as follows:
- 5K Run/Walk: $25
- Running Club: $15
- 1K Leprechaun Chase: $15
After March 1, the prices are:
- 5K Run/Walk: $30
- Running Club: $20
- 1K Leprechaun Chase: $20
If you register the day of the race, the prices will be:
- 5K Run/Walk: $35
- Running Club: $25
- 1K Leprechaun Chase: $25
As you can see, it’s best to register for the event before March 1. You also are guaranteed a shirt when you register before March 1.
