The playful story of Peter Pan never gets old. No matter which way you’ve seen his story before, you’ll love this performance. Here’s a synopsis of the show from the Harbor Playhouse website.
Peter and his mischievous fairy sidekick, Tinkerbell, visit the nursery of the Darling children late one night and, with a sprinkle of pixie dust, begin a magical journey across the stars that none of them will ever forget. In the adventure of a lifetime, the travelers come face to face with a ticking crocodile, a fierce Indian tribe, a band of bungling pirates and, of course, the villainous Captain Hook.
This show is a perfect chance to introduce kids to going to the theater. They’ll love the story and be totally engaged in the performance. Every show has one fifteen-minute intermission, so they’ll have a chance to get up and move around halfway through seeing Peter Pan.
If that sounds like fun to you, grab your tickets now! The cost is $20 for adults, $15 for military, seniors, or students, and $10 for children 13 and under. You can also get tickets for $16 each when you buy 10 or more at a time. Call the box office at 361-888-7469 for this option.
You’ll have plenty of chances to catch this show. It’ll be running from April 26 to June 2. Every weekend there’s a show Friday night at 7:30 p.m., Saturday night at 7:30 p.m., and Sunday afternoon at 2:30 p.m.
On Wednesday May 1 and Wednesday May 8, there will be special performances just for school groups at 10 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.
All performances will take place at the Harbor Playhouse at 1802 North Chaparral, Corpus Christi.
