The Exhibits
The exhibits at this museum are always changing, so there is something new to see every few months. The current exhibit selections are pretty incredible. First of all, you’ll want to see the Texas Surf: Life Cycle of a Wave exhibit. You’ll learn all about waves and how they affect the surfers who take them on.
Next, make sure you stop by to see the Women Surfers of the Gulf Coast exhibit. Female surfers may not get as much attention as male surfers, but that doesn’t mean that they aren’t out there hitting the big waves just as much as the guys. If you’re a woman, you might even find something interesting to get out and try out the waters yourself.
Finally, don’t miss the Function of Fins exhibit, either. This exhibit gives you the chance to get a closer look at the anatomy of a surfboard and how it helps propel surfers through the water.
You’re going to fall even more in love with surfing when you visit the Texas Surf Museum. However, you probably realize that you’re not going to get far around town if all you’re riding is your surfboard. Therefore, you’ll want to come look at the top-quality vehicles you’ll find here at Mike Shaw Toyota in Corpus Christi, Texas.
