There are a lot of great things about living in Texas. The Longhorn state has some of the best landscapes, food, events, and sports around. But Texas has also put out so much great music. You’ll get a chance to hear some really fun Texas country music when Josh Abbott Band plays at Brewster Street Ice House.
This show is going to be so much fun. Josh Abbott started this band in Lubbock while he was a student at Texas Tech. You don’t get much stronger Texas roots than that. You might know some of their big songs like “Oh, Tonight” with Kacey Musgraves, “She’s Like Texas,” “I’m Your Only Flaw,” or “Wasn’t That Drunk.”
Right now, Josh Abbott Band is on The Hanging Around Tour, and the shows have been great. They’re stopping in Corpus Christi at Brewster Street Ice House on Thursday, January 31. They’ll be playing with William Clark Green. Doors will open at 8 p.m, and the show will start at 9 p.m. Tickets are available now. In advance, tickets are $20 each. This show is general admission and all ages.
You can find Brewster Street Ice House at 1724 N. Tancahua, Corpus Christi. And this isn’t your average venue. It’s a great casual atmosphere where you can get something delicious from the full service restaurant or get a drink from their huge selection of liquors and beers. They offer quite a few Texas liquors and Texas craft beers for you to choose from. When you’re hungry, you can get anything from a classic burger to avocado tacos and everything in between. Brewster Street Ice House is a great place to catch a show.
