There’s no way to fully repay our service members for all that they’ve done for us, but we should certainly show our gratitude whenever we can. Here in Texas, we express our thanks every Veterans Day in a number of ways, and we’d like to share with you a way to demonstrate your appreciation through both display and action. We invite you to join us this November at the 2022 Coastal Bend Field of Honor.

On Veterans Day, the Richard M. Borchard Regional Fairgrounds will be filled with 1,000 American flags flying in honor of Coastal Bend’s bravest. Each flag represents a U.S. veteran, and the flags will be accompanied by tabs with details about the veteran’s name, military branch, rank, and other information about their service. If there’s a veteran in your life that you would like to honor, you can purchase a flag to be flown at the fairgrounds. Your purchase will go to fund regional organizations that support veterans who need housing, clothing, food, and other essentials.
When and Where
The 2022 Coastal Bend Field of Honor ceremony will be held at the Richard M. Borchard Regional Fairgrounds. It will begin at 4:30 p.m. on November 11, Veterans Day. The flags will be up until December 2. The location’s address is 1213 Terry Shamsie Boulevard, Robstown, Texas 78380.
