Café Calypso is one of the oldest coffee shops in Corpus Christi. The coffee shop is attached to Half Priced Books in Moore Plaza. They also sell bagels, pastries, teas, and Italian sodas. The signature drink is the Buzzzilla. Café Calypso is open from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday; 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Fridays; 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Saturdays; and 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Sundays.
The Coffee Mugg
First opened in 2018, The Coffee Mugg is a Harry Potter-themed coffee shop that sells drinks and pastries with wizard-themed names. It has become a place for Harry Potter fans to gather. In addition to coffee, The Coffee Mugg is home to Harry Potter memorabilia. The coffee shop’s signature drink is The Goblet of Fuego. The Coffee Mugg is open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Friday; and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.

Island Joes Coffee and Gallery
Island Joes Coffee and Gallery is an espresso-based coffee shop on North Padre Island. The building is built from 10 shipping containers with a large outside patio. The pet-friendly coffee shop features a range of hot drinks, along with iced and frozen coffee. All of its syrups are handmade. Island Joes Coffee And Gallery’s mission is to provide islanders and visitors a relaxing place to grab a drink in a family-friendly environment. Island Joes Coffee And Gallery also hosts an array of events, including open mike night, game night, and movie night. Its signature drink is the Island Girl. Island Joes Coffee and Gallery is open from 6:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesdays and from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday through Monday.
